Did you know that there are around 150 billion app downloads per year? These days, mobile phones are ubiquitous and the need for mobile developers exponentially grows.
In this 5 week mobile app development bootcamp + 7 week internship, MIT and Stanford engineers will teach Grades 7-12 students how to code a mobile app for iOS and Android platforms from scratch, and provide students with the opportunity to apply those skills in an internship.
Students will be introduced to React Native UI framework and various backend Firebase services. Agile iterative methodology will be taught and enforced during the internship through issue tracking and weekly stand-ups.
No prior experience is required.
Our students created a mobile app used by 10,000 users for educational startup, Teach Different! See the video above.
