About Us

The MehtA+ (mehta plus) Academic Atelier is a one-stop ecosystem for academic growth, with admissions consulting at its core. Families come to us for admissions, and gain access to a complete academic platform designed to help students grow into computational thinkers, interdisciplinary researchers, creative problem solvers and changemakers prepared to succeed in an AI-accelerated world.

Our admissions‑first philosophy goes beyond surface‑level application polishing. We focus on empowering students with the intellectual foundations, real‑world experiences, and long‑term academic strategy they need to tackle meaningful problems and stand out as authentic, capable innovators.

Students receive world‑class guidance from mentors trained at MIT, Stanford, Ivy League institutions, and leading global universities. Through the MehtA+ academic atelier, every learner gains access to all the MehtA+ offerings: science, humanities and engineering research mentorship, technical project guidance, tutoring and test prep, competitive coaching and STEAM camps all under one roof.

In order to make our opportunities accessible to all students, we have a free educational YouTube & TikTok Channel, @misspawsandfriends taught by an MIT-educated cat and her friends.

MehtA+ loves giving back to the community, and our team has a blast leading hands‑on STEAM crafts at STEAM Fair every year.

At MehtA+, we hold our instructors to the same high standards of excellence that we set for our students. Our A+ instruction not only prepares students to get accepted to their dream colleges, but also more importantly thrive in their dream colleges. Our team has taught more than 500 students who have received 30+ scores on their ACT, perfect scores on SAT subject tests, completed award-winning research projects, learned some of the most in-demand skills in the job market and have been admitted to some of the top most universities in the countries such as MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, University of Toronto, Johns Hopkins and UIUC.

Meet the Co-founders

MehtA+ was founded by siblings Haripriya Mehta (MIT ’20) and Bhagirath Mehta (Stanford ’22), both AI engineers who bring deep technical expertise and a shared commitment to reimagining education for the next generation. Inspired by their great‑great‑grandfather, an educator who taught princesses in India and founded his own school, they built MehtA+ to carry forward a multigenerational legacy of learning, mentorship, and intellectual curiosity.

From an early age, both founders demonstrated exceptional academic excellence: earning 5s on AP Calculus BC (Grade 12 course) in 8th grade, excelling in state, national, and international mathematics and chemistry competitions, graduating as valedictorians in high school, scoring 36s on the ACT, becoming National Merit Finalists, publishing in the prestigious social science journal The Concord Review and winning the Emerson Prize, and co‑founding a club where they applied engineering skills for social good. Their trajectory of interdisciplinary exploration and real‑world impact is what shapes the atelier’s vision.

Haripriya M

Haripriya earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, along with a Minor in Music, all in four years. She has worked as a software engineer at Microsoft Azure, Amazon Audible, and Nordstrom, and has published research in artificial intelligence, cryptography, and human‑computer interaction. Her work blends engineering, design, and storytelling, and she brings that same multidisciplinary spirit to MehtA+.

Bhagirath M

Bhagirath graduated from Stanford with a double major and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in four years. He has worked as a software engineer at Microsoft, Amazon, and a Silicon Valley startup. At the International Rotman Trading Competition, he led the Stanford trading team to a first‑place victory, outperforming 50 teams from around the world. His passion for systems thinking, problem‑solving, and mentorship shapes the backbone of MehtA+.
