Magnetic Bookmarks

Magnets are everywhere in our daily lives. From your refrigerator door to speakers and motors, magnets play a crucial role. But how do they work? Materials needed:

Magnets for crafts

Cardstock

Markers/Colored Pencils/Crayons

Scissors

Packing Tape (optional)

Glue (optional)

Steps:

1) Cut a bookmark strip.  

2) If you didn’t print the colored copy of the bookmark, color Miss Paws & Mister Whiskers & the bookmark background. 

3) Optionally, laminate the bookmark strip with packing tape to make the bookmark sturdier.

4) Cut the design. 

5) Fold the bookmark. 

6) Place a magnet on one side of the bookmark.  You can optionally glue the magnet to the bookmark to ensure the magnet stays in place. 

7) Stick Magnet to other magnet. 

8) Fold the top half of the bookmark down and ensure the magnets are stuck to the bookmark. 

9) Enjoy your bookmark!
