About our mentorship program

The MehtA+ Applied Tech Mentorship program supports adult learners in developing impactful, portfolio‑ready projects in areas such as AI, data science, software engineering, and app development, etc. Whether you’re exploring a new technical direction, strengthening your professional profile, or building a project to support a career transition, our mentors provide structured, personalized guidance every step of the way.

Mentorship is offered exclusively in a one‑on‑one format, with flexible 10‑hour and 15‑hour packages. Learners are only billed for actual meeting time, either 30‑minute or 1‑hour sessions, depending on what best fits their schedule and learning style. Our mentors include industry professionals, master’s and PhD candidates with experience across AI, machine learning, software engineering, and product development.

Each project begins with a collaborative planning phase where the mentor and learner outline a clear roadmap, milestones, and expected deliverables. Throughout the program, participants receive guidance across the full development cycle, which may include:

  • literature review
  • technical skill building
  • model development or app architecture planning
  • data collection, cleaning, and analysis
  • documentation and write‑ups
  • portfolio‑ready presentation materials

Rather than selecting from a predetermined list of project ideas, adult learners work with their mentor to shape a project that aligns with their goals, whether that’s building an AI model, designing a full‑stack application, exploring a data‑driven question, or prototyping a new tool. Projects emerge organically through early conversations, grounded in the learner’s interests and the mentor’s expertise.
